It is my prayer and the whole purpose of this site that you might come to know God in a deeper and more personal way as you recall the words of Jesus in John 14:6 (NIRV) 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Spend some time and discover something here - that God has just for you .. some gems, jewels and pearls of great value .. some lay hidden a little deeper and require digging and mining, others are just for you - the visitor! Some of these jewels may be hidden right there in the recesses of your own heart and some treasure lays in the wide open - yet you might fail to see them.
Matthew 11:29 in The Message says it this way: 28-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
The best illustration I can offer is as outlined below from Psalm 91: 14-16
I rescue all who cling to me,
I protect whoever knows my name,
I answer everyone who invokes me,
I am with them when they are in trouble;
I bring them safety and honour.
I give them life, long and full,
and show them how I can save.
Sometimes .. we all need a little help in trying to do that to which we may not be accustomed .. so this is a little "helper" to get you rolling maybe .. you know, maybe you're like me and you let some things "slide" .. and then when a real need arises and someone, maybe even a Facebook Friend .. or you get a "tweet" and someone is asking you to PRAY FOR SOMEONE IN DIRE STRAIGHTS .. of course, you say you will , but what then? .. maybe this is your answer ..
